I think I am a gambler at heart! Only that could explain why I made unprecendented losses in the stock market in the year 2006. I went into severe depression after that. I had my family support but then I could not believe that I could have made such blunders! If you are familiar with how the gambler’s psyche works, I tried to regain my losses and in the bargain ended up losing even more.

I tried everything. I read up on the markets, I consulted brokers, I learnt technical analysis myself but I again and again failed to make any money. Then I chanced upon The Secret. The book was given to me by my sister-in-law who in turn was given the book by her friend. When I initaially started reading I thought it was just another motivational book.. But when I came to the part where the book recommends starting small to build confidence, I did just that! I imagined hearing from my old friend and hey presto within 3 days I hear from her. Same thing for parking spaces. As I slowly started building confidence, I started believing that no wishes are small or big, they are just wishes that the Universe fulfills.

Gradually, I started applying the principle to the stock market – I changed my strategies, I could speculate better and in 2010 for the first time I made some money!! I was bowled by the power of The Secret. Now I rarely lose money… On the occasions that I do, I am sure that it is just delayed profit. I never lose sleep over it as I used to. Thanks just to Rhonda Byrne and The Secret. I have gone out and purcahsed my own book so that Rhonda Byrne can get the royalty for it. I recommend the book to every person I come across. I treat the book as my bible and read excerpts of it at night just before falling asleep. What is amazing is that I choose the pages randomly and the page always opens to something relevant for me corresponding to my preoccupations of the day…

There are countless other ways in which The Secret has touched my life. I will definitely share it another time… My job, my daughter, my family, my friends, my personal goals and so on.
