I was given the book The Secret at Christmas, and at first I thought it was a joke. It took me several months before I even picked it up. Once I read The Secret I wanted more. I asked the universe for the movie and within a few weeks I received it. I recently purchased the audio book so I could listen on my way to work.

My whole personality changed. My daughter noticed my behaviour and asked what was wrong with me. She was on a daily basis a depressed child. I recently sat her down and asked what was wrong and she stated how bad she needed a car so she could get to work and to school, but she knew that it would never happen. So I took a chapter from the book and made her close her eyes and envision herself in the car she wanted. Made her feel the car, smell the car, and hear the car run. I told her to hold that feeling, and she began to smile.

A few days later I had taken her to an appointment and she asked if we could just go look at some cars. I took her right away. I don’t know why, but I did. We pulled into a dealer and we spoke to a gentleman. He showed her some cars but not one of them felt the right way. Then he said I have a car that you may like, and he pulled it out from behind the building. My daughter almost jumped to the stars. It was the exact same car, same colour, everything was the same. She jumped in the car and she stated out loud, ‘This is my car!’ Although the cost was out of her range we filled out a form and waited a day to find out. She was worried so I told her to stop thinking that way and she shall receive. An hour later we got a call telling her to come pick up her new car.

Not a day goes by now that she doesn’t say, ‘Mom, are you still feeling the Secret?’ with a beautiful smile.
