I got married to the love of my life in April this year and my husband had to go back to Australia ten days after the wedding and again we moved back to being in a long distance situation. The three months that followed were not easy. We both could feel the days passing by, and we could easily feel each other’s fluctuating moods. I had to complete certain formalities in India that could ease my visa process. Two months went by to complete the formalities, and almost 20 days had passed since I had to file the application. In between, my faith wavered, but deep down, my instinct kept telling me that our long-distance situation would end soon, God would make it happen, and the Universe was on our side.

I visualized myself being with my husband in our new home. When we filled out the application, I changed the wallpaper on my phone to indicate that the visa would come on the 15th of July, and I just expressed gratitude whenever I saw it. I have been following The Secret teachings for years, and The Secret has never let me down. I know that God and the Universe will always have my back, but we, being humans, sometimes lose patience and forget to be grateful for whatever we have been given or have already. us.  I am forever grateful for this blessing, as it means the world to both me and my husband.
