I am going to tell you about my very first experience where I magically received the exact same yellow highlighter that I needed for school.

I only purchased The Magic when I was 15 from my local bookstore and was intrigued from the very first day itself. I received this Faber Castell yellow highlighter, in a very unusual way and it still leaves me wondering about how fast The Magic worked.

At the start of the book I was told to list down in detail all the things that I desired. However, this highlighter was not part of it. It was more of something I needed rather than something I wanted. I did the Count Your Blessings and The Magic Rock practices every day for about a week or two.

Then one day when my mum’s friend invited us to their huge open house for Eid Mubarak. After having my dinner, they started giving out huge party packs to the children. I opened mine and I realised that there was a Faber Castell pencil box set in there.

You cannot believe my awe when I took out the pencil box and saw the exact same highlighter that I needed and thought about in the back of my mind! It was almost unbelievable! I suddenly realised that I was the only one smiling like an idiot in the crowd.

It was indeed remarkable and it made me go further into The Magic practices because I naturally wanted to continue receiving more and more.

I had read a few pages of The Secret and even watched the movie but unfortunately was too young to understand it. This is my first experience and I just shared it to tell you guys out there to keep going and be patient while waiting for The Magic to work. Don’t give up!
