My dog died in August 2022. I wasn’t going to get another dog as I work full time mostly from home although have a great neighbor who helps out when I have to work in the office. I have had some health problems since getting covid in 2020 and knew the lack of exercise since losing my dog was not helping. I tried to rescue a dog from many different shelters but was unsuccessful. I found myself spending hours on the internet looking for a dog.

I wrote a list of all the things I wanted in a dog. I thanked the Universe and then I put the list away. One day during my searches, I came across 2 puppies that were a breed I was interested in owning. However, after some initial inquiries, I decided I did not want a puppy anymore due to the commitment it needed. I left the idea of a puppy for a bit longer, a few more weeks, but I still continued searching.

Then something made me text the lady with the puppies again. She had one left. I went to see him. He was very small and quiet, and he seemed to struggle to wake up for his visitor. I did not immediately fall for him until I met his parents and they were the sort of dogs I knew I wanted.

I have had my puppy living with me for 2 months now and he has all the qualities I put on my list! He is exactly what I told the Universe I wanted and now I have him.
