Loving The Things You Do.
Submitted by: Amanda
New ZealandI love all types of art and people, expressing creativity and helping people find what they love. :)
I was a 14-year-old girl sitting in the school library, moping to a new friend about a boy that wasn’t replying to her texts. That was the day that changed my life forever. I had met this boy outside of school and knew I liked him from the first time he walked into the room.
Fast forwarding to the library. I vividly remember this moment of my life. I was sitting with a girl that I had just started becoming friends with. She wrote down “The Secret” on a piece of paper. As she handed it to me she whispered: “Watch this movie.” As soon as the bell rang that day I frantically raced to the library and there it was, sitting in the movie section waiting for me. When I got home I cuddled up in bed and played it without breaking focus for the full hour and a half. When I was done, my mind was blown. Searching the internet for more information I learned so much more.
Later on that week I slowly started my journey on manifesting my dreams. I did creative visualization every day when rising and at night before bed, reading affirmations to myself as many times as I could and just believing that what I wanted was already here. I was talking to my friends and family like this boy was already my boyfriend and sometimes as a joke, call him a husband. I would talk about him to everyone I knew about what he was like, and it slowly started to manifest. He would text me almost every day and just genuinely show more interest in me.
He is now my boyfriend. We have been dating for almost 2 months and to some that may not seem like a lot but I have manifested such a beautiful, caring, and compassionate partner and I believe we will be together for the rest of our lives. At first, I didn’t see results and started researching on why nothing was happening. After watching a few Youtube videos on successful people using the law of attraction, I realized I had forgotten one of the most important things; loving myself. I was still stuck in my eating disorder which gave me anxiety and depression every day and I was writing about it. So I went back on my writing and realized that I was focusing on being sick and being unhappy. I turned it around. It took some time but it worked. As a 14-year-old girl, you shouldn’t need to focus on your weight and being self-conscious. It is a waste of energy that you could be putting into manifesting! Now I follow a plant-based diet eating in abundance and I am as happy as ever. I don’t ever have to worry about my weight and that is because of my current mindset, it is all about the mindset.
I have manifested many more things such as a new home for my family and opportunities for modeling which has been a lifelong dream of mine. However, I thought I would focus on one of my highest values in life which is love. With the law of attraction you can achieve anything you desire, you just have to believe it. I am so grateful for everyone that has helped me on my journey whether I know you personally or not. And to everyone that reads this, always be grateful for everything you have because there will always be someone who desires to be like you.
