Loving My Life!

I have a wonderful, solid family, full of values and traditions like most Mexican people have. I just wanted to share my story and let everybody know that it really can happen if you want it really bad and if you feel it!

I felt that I was living paycheck to paycheck on a teacher’s salary which wasn’t much, Plus our government was taking a lot out of our paychecks in taxes, so it was even more frustrating. But I am relentless and something inside me just kept on pushing. I wanted a better! I wanted to live in another country.

I was always daydreaming about Canada. I read books about Canada. I involved myself in the culture, in the city and the about the laws. I went on dating sites and I connected with people in Canada. I made friends and I related every little detail of things I would get, to Canada. If it was a keychain it would be been a Canadian keychain. If it was a beach towel it would have the Canadian flag colors. I just tried to visualize it.

Fortunately a lot of people helped me in Canada and I found a great lawyer that would help me with my immigration status. So a year and a half after I started living in Canada I now had a great job, a nice car, a nice place to live and I am around people that have a very positive outlook in life!!!’ I tend to practice The Secret every day and try to look at life in a different perspective. If there are ever any problems shooting my way, I tend to fix them and channel them in a positive way. Such as saying it ‘happens for reason’ and ‘I know the reason means that something better is coming along’!

This year I am traveling to Europe which has always been my dream and I could say I have checked marked it off my list!! I had always visualized myself visiting Europe, the Middle East, Greece and many other beautiful places and now it is about to become a reality. I am grateful, thankfuL and joyful! I am trying to let out all my positive energy and letting everybody know that you can do this. You can practice The Secret! It can be difficult in the beginning, especially if you have a lot of old bad habits to change but you will get the hang of it. You need to understand it. Read the books or watch the videos if you are a visual learner.
