I read The Secret years ago, and came upon The Power by way of some lucky sequence of events. As I read it, I began using love to receive my best life. The very next day, I began getting an inordinate number of inquiries for work. Rhonda Byrne talks about asking the universe for a signal when you are on the frequency of love. I chose my signal to be the color green. The only catch was that it had to be something changeable, not the grass and trees that I see every day but things like green clothing, green paint, etc. I chose the color green because I had recently conducted a show in which the group name had the word “Green” in it, and it had represented a great step in my career. In fact, one of the inquiries I had gotten that week was getting rehired with the same group.

Here is what I know: I have never seen so many green jackets, shoes, hats, shoelaces, bags, backpacks, awnings, doors. The day I got together with someone I had long admired, she was wearing bright green socks. I had a business meeting in a cafe I had never been to before. I had not chosen the place, the entire facade of the building had been painted green, and there were three people wearing green shirts inside. I met with my beloved mentor a week ago, and he was wearing a bright green shirt. Just before meeting him, I had stopped in a thrift store and found a green jacket that fit me perfectly.

This is the magic that is my life. I am so grateful that The Power found me!
