I decided that if this worked for me, I had to write my story, so that others know how powerful The Secret really is. I have had a lot of trouble learning to love and trust another person after being in an abusive relationship. I never felt I truly deserved and loving and respectful relationship, and thus, I literally attracted people whom would never love me and only knew how to disrespect me. It was becoming a vicious cycle.

One day this past spring, my sorority sister told me about reading The Secret. She told me it transformed her whole way of thinking, and as a result she has been much happier and becoming the person she wants to be. I decided that reading it couldn’t hurt, and within one day I had devoured the entire book. And I reread it every day after for a week, until I really understood what secret was. Within three months I met the man who is now my boyfriend and whom is absolutely incredible. It was like he was just waiting there for me, ready for me, all because I was ready for him. All I can say is that The Secret does work, it works to benefit you, and you have nothing to lose from trying. Be patient and understand that you do deserve everything good in the universe!
