​Dear Rhonda,

This is my first letter to you and I am just so thrilled to share how The Secret has worked for me.

My Father recently bought me a new pair of reading glasses. Even though it was an expensive deal and despite the fact that both my parents are retired, with a minimal retirement pension amount coming in each month, he bought me the glasses (about a month ago).

Anyway, here’s what happened last evening.

I went with a friend to New Delhi’s famous Lodhi Gardens and handed him my glasses to keep in the pocket of his shirt so I could sit back, relax and enjoy the lotus blooms in the pond in front of us. I didn’t have the spectacle’s case with me and thought the glasses would remain safe in his shirt pocket.

However, after it started to get dark, we decided to get going. While we were walking towards the car, I asked my friend to hand me my glasses. It was then that we realized that the glasses were not in his shirt pocket. It was already dark by then and looking for the glasses proved to be completely futile. So my friend offered to come back early next morning and look for them. However, even after two hours of search the next morning, he was unable to find them.

I also went the next morning to where my friend and I had been the previous evening and looked closely at the ground, shrubs, hedge etc. to see if perhaps, I would have better luck than him. Alas, there was no sign of my spectacles. I requested the gardener present to help me look for my glasses, who graciously did so. Soon, the other garden staffers also joined in the search, leaving their work aside. I felt so blessed to be surrounded in that moment by strangers who had come forward so graciously to help me. However, when our search revealed no results, I had nothing much to do except request them to look again and inform me in case anyone found the glasses.

Truth be told, I felt devastated and did not have the heart to tell my father about the loss of the glasses.

Back at the office, I immediately, almost instinctively, logged onto The Secret website to read stories of people who had lost and found their belongings through the power of The Secret. I read incredible stories of how people who had lost their educational certificates, gold and diamond earrings, ID cards, etc. had got them back simply through the power of The Secret.

I felt so inspired that I immediately set about writing thank you notes to the universe for bringing back my glasses to me and that, too, in perfect condition, without a single scratch!! 🙂 I even wrote a little note to my glasses telling them how much I loved them, how grateful I was to them for helping me see well and for coming back to me in such perfect condition! I even wrote out a small note on a post-it which read “I believe with all my heart in the goodness of the human heart, in human kindness and that the person who has found my glasses has handed them over today itself!! I am ever so grateful for such care, warmth and kindness. Love, Sonali”.

It is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE that I called the lost and found office of the Lodhi Gardens just a few minutes back to ask if anyone had handed in a pair of reading glasses and guess what??

They DID receive a pair and the description given to me over the phone exactly matches the pair I had lost last night!!

The first thing I will do tomorrow is go and pick up the glasses! 🙂 I just couldn’t wait to share this with all of you.

Thank you dear, kind Universe, thank you to the wonderful guard on night duty that day who found my glasses and decided to keep them safe until he could hand these over to the office. THANK YOU all so very much! I’ve known about The Secret for years, but this is the first time perhaps that it has worked so powerfully and that too, when I needed it to work the most!
