First of all, thank you, thank you, thank you to all the people who worked to bring us the knowledge of The Secret, and for all the inspiring stories shared. It keeps me going with more faith than ever!
So my story happened a couple of days ago on my last shift at work for the week. I went to work without eating first because I wanted to be early. I was thinking I could just eat at my first break since I was really hungry, even before my shift started at 2:00 AM. Now, while I was doing my job, I was surprised to feel hands on my shoulders. It was my mentor greeting me with a “Good morning”. And not even a minute passed before he left a pack of sliced cake at my desk. I almost didn’t realize there was food. Food, because I was hungry and I wanted to eat. Amazing!
Fast forward and my day at work was pretty easy. As my shift ended, I was already making plans for the things I needed to do. I was thinking of going to my favorite fast food place for lunch. I took note that this was a Saturday and the mall would be packed with people. As I first passed the fast food place, there were long lines to get orders and most of the tables are occupied. So as I went to get cash first, I started visualizing the spot where I wanted to sit down and eat without having to wait in line once I got my order.
As I walked to the mall, I was doing The Magic Footsteps practice too, since it sets my mind to be grateful everywhere I go. So, when I got to the fast food place, I started to fall get into the line and guess what? A counter opened and I was able to order right away!
As I was getting my food I noticed that someone was seated at the table that I had been visualizing earlier. He seems to be waiting for someone. Oh well. Now, I started glancing around for a seat as the crew finished preparing my order. I turned around and the person was already standing up. Now it seemed like he was looking for someone. I approached him and asked if he was still going to stay there and he signaled me that it was OK and he left. Wow! I got the seat I wanted! I was so delighted!
I was really grateful as I headed out of the mall after being able to do all the other things that I needed to do and doing The Magic Footsteps again as I headed for home. Turns out, the Universe isn’t quite yet finished!
As I was walking, a smiling face was headed towards me. It was my college friend I had not seen in more than four months! She hugged me as I pulled her back to the sidewalk. We chatted a bit, and as we bid each other goodbye, I kept thinking how blessed I am to be shown that the Universe always works for my happiness, even so much more than I asked! To all my fellow believers in the Universe, you just have to have faith that things will work out for the best. The “how”part is never our problem, all we need is to ask, believe and receive!
