The way I was introduced to The Secret is pretty funny.

I heard about the book and movie and I thought it was a great literature piece. I was getting addicted to books around that time and I thought I would someday read this book, The Secret.

The next time I went to the book store, the first book I saw was The Secret and it was with an offer of a 10 % discount if you buy all the three books together of The Secret, The Magic and The Power. I thought I was not mature enough yet to read this literature and skipped it.

A few days after this, my aunt who was visiting us from UK gave me the same set as a gift. I was dumbstruck until I read the book.

But I don’t know how I attracted the gift. I just thought of it like twice. Once as soon as I heard of it and the other when I saw it in hard copy.

Some of the results is that I got from the books:

Friends:
I started testing The Secret. First I wanted to regain the trust of my secondary school friend who got angry with me 2 years back. I wanted to be friends with her and I tried The Secret.

I thought we never fought and believed that I am still friends with her. The same day, by the evening, I got a text message from her and 2 weeks later she came over traveling 400 kms to meet me.

Health:
I was suffering from bronchial asthma through my childhood and a mild change in temperature used to make conditions worse. I used cough and would gasp for breath every few minutes in cold weather. And this year, I did not have any attacks of asthma and whenever I felt any symptoms, I used to tell myself that I am perfectly alright and there is nothing wrong with me. It worked.

Money:
I never had lack of money but I just wanted to try this. This is an instance I almost lost hope. I read about The Secret Check and wanted to try it out.

I wrote myself a $10,000 check and dated it 12/12/2012.

I didn’t know how I would get $10,000 dollars in a month. As the date was approaching I lost hope. I put this paper in my wallet and every time I opened my wallet to pay for something, I thought The Secret failed me and then the next minute I would get conscious of my thoughts and would change my statement to “The Secret is devising ways to make it possible”. Whenever I would write my words of gratitude, I used to think of this.

And so went Thanksgiving and it was fast approaching Christmas. My relatives started giving me money as a gift as they said they didn’t know what I liked.

I became dumb struck when I checked my bank statement.

All the gift money accumulated to $10,000 and so I got my $10,000!

Education
Last but has to be on the top, when I planned to study in US, my brother who studied in Purdue University shared his experiences with me. With my increasing interest, he showed me some pictures. I some of them from him and put them on my creative board.

I was under the illusion that College is Purdue, and I used to visualize myself on the campus. Instead of imagining some unknown campus, I visualized the Purdue campus, the clock tower, the PMU as I had put those photos on my creative board.

Unknowingly, I believed that I am a part of Purdue and mystically I got accepted in Purdue and am currently studying in Purdue University, West Lafayette.
