Living a magic life

In the spring and summer of 2000, my family was ‘technically’ homeless. By ‘technically’, I mean, we lived in a week to week motel room. We were all fine with it, we even had fun with it. It meant we didn’t have to hide a family member to stay there (living from apartment to apartment, previously meant leaving a family member off the lease to be able to “qualify” to live in a certain bedroom quantity).
While we stayed in the motel room, it “came to me” to write a list of what I wanted in a home. I thought of what I wanted in a home for us. I don’t remember if I wrote it down or not, but I do remember I ‘completed’ what I wanted in a home. I asked for: Three+ bedrooms, hardwood floors, a fireplace, two+ bathrooms, a detached garage, a clothes line for laundry, and I didn’t really “care” what the kitchen looked like as long as it was sufficient and did the job of maintaining a worthwhile meal for my family. While I was “thinking/dreaming/asking” for what I wanted, I had fun with this and “asked” to have a large rock in the yard (I fancy rocks), and the most used door to face the east. Upon completing what I wanted in this house, I “got it in me” to go to the store and purchase a transparent balloon. My boyfriend/fiance (husband now) and I chose a Monarch Butterfly. Upon the wings we wrote, “Thanks for everything, <3 T n K," and we let it go outside the motel. We stood together chatting and watching it go with the breeze. Once it was out of sight, we smiled, felt good about it and went back inside. Throughout the summer we attended concerts, went out for meals, movies, went on small road trips, and pretty much just "lived" our lives as normal. From our motel room we moved into a friends two bedroom apartment with her and her two small children. In exchange, we paid her rent, took care of her children as she worked nights, cooked, cleaned, and let her spend some of her pay checks on shopping. In short, we continued to "live" and enjoyed our time with her and her two kids. While going through the motions of dealing with living with so many people in such small quarters, I found a housing list to sign up for online. I made choices on what I was looking for and got notice for just those choices. One morning I received notice for a house; five+ bedrooms, and very well within our price range. I called and set up an appointment for a showing for that afternoon. We got the house; five+ bedrooms, one and three-quarter bathrooms, hardwood floors, funky looking kitchen, a four car (FOUR CAR) detached garage, clothes line, NO fireplace but an awesome fire pit, and my most used door faced the east... and just for fun... I even got my large rock (boulder) in my yard! Five months, from first asking, to having faith, to manifestation. And another really fun thing about this... the transparent Monarch Butterfly balloon flew in the exact direction of where our house was located from the motel we were living in. Additionally, while we were making this move, we also needed a reliable day care for our youngest, in her school district. I looked and called and set appointments to meet with people. And finally just as I was about to just go with the least robotic one, I found a listing near the bottom of the paper. I called her and we seemed to get along great over the phone... so we met her... she was warm, loving, imminently kind, soft spoken, gentle, and wouldn't you know it, in her yard was a milkweed bush FILLED with Monarch Butterflies!! My bf/fiance (now husband) and I smiled and we both knew we had hit the jackpot for a second time. We all are living happily ever after... and continue to live our lives in gratitude and thankfulness, and now that I know what it was I was doing, I can start doing it full time and really live the life we were ALL meant to live.
