Before I ever heard of The Secret I worked for a company where everything just went the way I wanted it, career path, opportunities, romance, etc. I was also reading a book about having a positive attitude. Since I had to leave that job, things got worse. I was able to return to that company and things got better again. Then I choose to leave for better opportunities and things got better for a while and the got worse again.

After reading The Secret I came to realize one very little detail about working at this company. In the book it says to have happy thoughts and to make yourself feel good. I am a sports person and I like to win. I noticed that my username at this company ended with i1 so every time I logged in to my computer, I read in my mind, I won. I never gave it much thought until recently when I found my life starting to spiral out of control. And I thought about what was really different about that time in my life. So instead of my given user name, I started to use “I won”, or “i1” or “I one” in my usernames and passwords. And I used other positive phrases to give me that continues jolt for being happy all day at work. My life has taken a 180 in just 5 weeks. Everything is moving in the direction I want it to.
