I have just recently started experiencing the wonders of The Secret. A few little things have happened that I am truly convinced are from the power of The Secret. I am blessed with everything I need and most of what I want. I did not know what to start asking for so I just started giving thanks every day for everything that have, even down the to the toothpaste I use every day.
Just before Christmas, my oldest daughter and her family recently found a house to rent much closer to our town. They used to live 3 hours away. It was kind of a miracle they found it in a matter of days after coming home for Thanksgiving and we were all talking about how they wanted to live closer to us. They went back home and found a house in less than 1 week that was only one hour from us!
At Christmas, we decided we were going to give them cash because we did not know what they needed. We stopped at the bank on our way out of town and withdrew $100 from the ATM. We got to their new house, greetings were exchanged and then she said, “If we only had $100 we could rent a moving van and trailer and move all of our things in one trip. Money is tight though with deposits and Christmas.” I handed her the envelope, she opened it and there was the $100 she needed for the moving van. We both cried, hugged, and gave thanks!
My husband has been trying to sell a car for more than 6 months so he could buy a newer car. He has been searching websites and shopping for the best price and the color he wanted for the new car. I told him last week, “Your car is going to be gone before the week is over.” He scoffed and giggled at me, but he said, “If I do get rid of that car, I will not say another word about your positivity and gratitude.” He received an email on Saturday from a dealer who previously had told him he would not give him the amount he wanted on a trade in, but he will now. He also said that he would sell us the car for the price my husband wanted. We are planning on picking up the car on Thursday!
I am now giving thanks in anticipation for my youngest daughter’s college tuition to be paid. Her tuition bill for the first year at university is over $20,000. I don’t know how it will come, but I know it will. I changed her scholarship award letter which said $2,000, so it now reads $72,000 and I have put it on my mirror so I see it every day. I give thanks every day for her intelligence, hard work and her acceptance to college. I don’t know how it will come but it will. I look forward to reporting back when we have received word of her gift! Much thanks!
