I was watching The Secret the other day on Netflix. I had seen it before long ago and was so was happy to watch it again.
Something just happened to me that was so like the movie that I am a little dumbstruck.

To backtrack a little, 2 years ago we sold our massive dream house to downsize as our children had grown up and left home and we didn’t need a house that big. We boxed everything up and moved to a small rental where we could decide where we would live with no pressure. I’m a big believer in The Secret and I am always visualising and writing down goals and making affirmations, etc. I visualised building a better dream house but smaller and kept telling myself that I’m going to live in a stunning house that has everything I want in it

So we ended up finding a house in an area near where we were currently living. We knocked down the house then looked at hundreds of display homes and deciding on the only one out of all of them that made me feel that this really was the one. The house is now almost built and we are packing up to leave the old house to go to the new one. I was just looking through a box that had been sitting in a spare room unopened for the 2 years we were here. I found a folder entitled ‘house ideas’. There was one picture in the folder. It was cut out of a newspaper and guess what?.

It was of the exact same house that I just built!!

I have no memory of cutting out that design picture or ever seeing that design before. I really can’t believe it but then again, if you believe in The Secret then it is believable. I still can’t get my head around it. I can’t wait to move in now as I know it’s the house I’m meant to have!!
