Life Will Always Give You The Best.
I was in my dream job, working for a “Big 4” company. It was a proud feeling when I used to tell people where I worked but I was not happy actually working there. The colleagues I encountered were the worst. Every day I used to dread going to the job. In the second month itself, I started disliking my job. On one occasion the situation became so bad that I resigned from my job.
As I am the only working member of my family, my friends were skeptical about my decision. At the same time, the lockdown was announced in the nation. Nobody knew how long it would last and the situation in the market didn’t look promising at all. After a lot of thought, I pulled back my resignation and started working once again but with no enthusiasm at all.
I was on contract with the company and my end date was in the month of August. I decided that I would extend my contract for more time and then I would leave the job once the market looked good again. But life had other plans for me.
I was laid off with only 2 weeks notice. It took me at least a couple of days to get out of the shock. I was tense wondering who would pick me up during a pandemic.
I read The Secret and somehow I had a belief that things would turn bright for me. I wanted to get into a good organization with a high salary package. So I updated my resume on job sites.
And within 2 days, three companies offered me a job!
I selected the best one and I got an increment of almost 43%, and that too during a pandemic!
I had prayed to get good colleagues there and that was what I got.
My lesson was that the Universe will always give me the best. Miracles do happen.
