My daughter introduced me to The Daily Teachings and from the very first pages I was hooked. I can not begin to tell you how free, liberated, and excited I felt after reading this book. I then went and devoured everything I could find from The Secret.

How can these words turn you around so much? I went from always being a “realist”, i.e. negative and depressed, to someone so grateful and hopeful. I now see how we influence our lives through our thoughts, and how nothing, NOTHING happens to us that we do not accept from our deepest core. Mind blowing. All of a sudden, life seems amazing, happy, and truly magical.

At this time, I got it in my head that I really, really wanted to go on a trip to Europe.
Not just anything would do, I wanted to stay in luxury and thoroughly enjoy myself.

So I set that as my goal, along with the fact that it would all be paid for. I then wrote a cheque for an amount that I thought I would need. The date I had for my cheque was May 10, I wrote it on April 18th.

Through a series of events that I never would have thought of, on May 11, we ended up receiving 3 times what I had asked for, which is a good thing because I miscalculated how much I needed for the trip. The Universe delivered!!

So today, I am sitting here with the biggest grin on my face and the most loving feelings in my heart, and I am so happy. Tickets and accommodation are paid for and we leave for Europe next week!
