Thank you to Rhonda and her inspirational team who put up the stories. And thank you to the people who have the courage and strength to write about what happens in their lives as sometimes it is you, one way or another, that touches a stranger’s life and makes a dull day seem bright.

So this is my story:

I wanted to go to my ceremony to graduate this year but was told the tickets for the graduation were sold out. I did leave it kind of last minute, but then something made me think I am going to contact the establishment and just see if somehow I could do it. Something inside me made me think to just ask the universe and act like I was receiving and that is exactly what I did.

So I told my mum to have her outfit ready and booked the accommodation.

Then I got an email that my tickets would be at the door when I graduate this year!

This was bearing in mind I was told the tickets were over sold and there were not likely to be any cancellations.

As icing on the cake, a friend’s wife went to New York and I was thinking how nice it would be to go there as well, as I deserved a break.

And guess what?

I got tickets to New York in a flash sale for 300 pounds, return with taxes included.

A dear friend to me once said to me that this is the year you can have what you want if you ask the universe. Act as though you have it and believe it will be yours.

I have learned to have total trust and faith in the universe and my affirmation to myself is that life is good and life keeps getting better and better.

You can sit there and read other peoples stories and be content or you can make your own story and be that light of the end of the tunnel for some one else.
