So I got The Secret back in 2007, and I felt like for the first time in my life I was finally seeing everything clearly. I started trying to apply it. I had some hard jobs before that – I was a US Marine, and I sold cars (lonngggg hours), so I thought I want something easy for a little bit. I want to work at a bar or a gym, they seemed easy enough. I kept saying, “Oh, I am so glad I work at a bar and a gym.”

So about a week later I was out with some friends at a sports bar, and I started talking to a guy who owned a gym and he told me they were looking for someone and he would like me to work there. I couldn’t believe it, but I thought maybe it’s just a coincidence. This happened on a Thursday. On Saturday I was about to go for an hour ride and I stopped at a gas station to get something to eat. I was about to get into my car when a guy approached me and he said, “I don’t usually do this, but you seem like a really confident girl to me, and I own a bar and would love to have you work there.” Okayyyy, CRAZY! That is no coincidence! There is no way there’s two completely random jobs that have nothing to do with each other.

I was also doing some modeling at the time, and trying to get an agent in New York. I did a few small things, but I must admit a couple of bad things started to happen and I lost my positive thoughts.

Two years later, here I am reading the book again. I am not going to lose my faith this time. I predicted the day I was going to start my new job, I got interviewed about two months ago, and I kept waiting for the call, and I said to my friends, “You know, for some reason October 13 seems to be a very significant day in my life.” (Various other things have also happened on this day) I said, “Let’s see if I get this job, they will hire me on October 13.” They called me about 3 weeks ago to tell me I got hired, and I said, “Can you tell me when I will start?” Well, you guessed it, October 13, 2009!! Coincidence? I think not! The other people who I ‘predicted’ the date to were seriously floored.

I also have a situation in my life where I need $1500. So last week I decided to declare I would get the money by the end of the week. So I came into work Thursday and I said to everyone, “I am going to get a lot of money today.” I don’t know how, but I am – it’s coming.” Well, about 3 hours later a lawyer I have called me to tell me that the accident I got in one year ago was settled and I was going to get $2000 – after his payment, $1500. Oh My Gosh! BELIEVE! BELIEVE! BELIEVE! You are all so worth it. I know things are going to get much better.

I will have my ideal body
I will have my own place and it will be beautiful
I will start pursuing all of the dreams and goals I let wander away – who knows maybe you’ll see me on TV =)
