I learned about “The Secret” during a seminar, for homeless kids. I was one of them. At 18 I was living in a homeless shelter, a few dollars to my name and surrounded by all the things found in the underbelly of Las Vegas. As soon as I started seeing, I began believing half heartedly that my life would change but the more I tested out the LOA, the more “magic” seemed to be surrounding me. If I wanted a ride to work instead of taking the bus, I would get one from a friend or staff members, or if I wanted coffee I would manifest it.

However, having a lifetime of thinking negatively caused my faith to waver and soon my tiny magic miracles were few and far between.

At, 22 I was not longer in the homeless shelter. I was living by myself and began to feel loneliness and fear that I would never find someone. One night however, I see The Secret is available for streaming and I watch it as I’m drifting off to sleep, wishing and longing for my other half, my one and only, my soulmate.

On December first of 2012, my good friend calls me up to tell his girlfriend just dumped him and he has nowhere to go. I told him to stay in my living room. A few hours later the fling that I’m having texts me and dumps me. My friend, Jesse and I begin hanging out and getting to know each other more and more, all whilst denying any romantic feelings for each other until the night he kissed me. I kissed him back. I’m so thankful for that moment even to this day. You see, we have been together for over five years and I’ve taught him all about the LOA and The Secret.

Last year, I printed out a check from the Universe, The Secret check, because we were struggling financially and that kind of sucked. I asked the Universe for 100,000 dollars and at the time we were making a combined income of 35,000, unable to make ends meet. I set a date of 5/22/17 on the check and with unwavering faith I knew that the money was on its way. It is now April and without rhyme or reason in January, my old boss reaches out to me telling me he has a job for me but I need to move. I followed my gut and took the leap of faith. Our combined compensation is now $101,036.00 only less than a year later.
