Denmark, EuropeMother of two, married, Garden Designer and Flower Decorator.
During 2011 my life had come to a halt. My marriage was in crumbles, my children were very unhappy and my business as a garden designer was not happening. I decided it was time to look for a new job – to brace myself for whatever was coming my way.
I automatically turned to my old education in political science. I had a couple of interviews with a number of very nice people who decided not to take me on because of the highly creative twist my career had taken. As always, when I look for spiritual support, I turned to The Secret, and read a lovely story about a person who had intended a job, written down everything and received exactly that job. Highly inspired, I did just that. Wrote that I wished for a highly creative job within 10 minutes distance from my home. Described that wonderful job in details, and found myself in a flower shop 4 days later.
I had arranged with the owner of the shop to create some Christmas decorations that I would then present in the local newspaper in my garden column. Thinking that they weren’t hiring people, I found myself asking out of the blue whether they needed assistance for Christmas, and the owner stopped up in the middle of everything, because her employee had just resigned. I would say that we created that job right there. I admitted to a training period, and have been working there full time since January this year. I love that job, I love going to work every day, and I can only try to find words for my appreciation of my boss, my job and my life.
Now, whether it is because of that joy or because of other things I cannot tell you, but my husband and I have found each other again, the children are safe and comfortable and my life is again full of joy. Thank you for the help and assistance that I can always find out there. Thank you for reminding me that creation is within me. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Stine
