LA To NYC.
I lost a job that was very important to me. I’m a freelance Producer and have never had to look for work, in fact, more often then not, I had to turn work down, which I was extremely grateful for. I hit a wall. I cried every day. I couldn’t get a job to save my life. My savings account was dwindling. I was depressed. I was sick of LA. I wanted to be in New York. I wanted to feel the hustle and bustle of the loud city that never sleeps. I wanted to sleep in my man’s arms, he lives in New York. I wanted to walk the streets. I wanted to experience living in this amazing city.
Every day I practice The Magic as soon as I wake up in the morning. I created a vision board with images of New York all over it. I added the words “New job opportunity” and “career change” on my vision board. I wrote the words “fabulous one bedroom apartment” on a reality business card and stuck to the board. I hung the board next to my bed and it was the first and last thing I looked at everyday.
I started to tell friends, family, even strangers that I was going to New York. Even though I live in LA where it’s 72 and sunny every day, I bought a winter jacket for New York. When I got off the phone with my Dad I would say, “I’ll call you from New York.” I would imagine and feel I was living in New York.
One day, it happened. I got a phone call from a company in New York that hired me over the phone and said I start in a week! When I told them my expected salary which was the highest amount I have ever asked for, they said yes! After hours of looking for apartments and not having luck finding anything decent without a roommate, I stumbled upon an apartment in Brooklyn that was huge, fully furnished and available for the time I needed it! I could afford it and my man could be there with me so I was able to fall asleep in his arms.
I manifested my trip to New York City! I have been here 7 weeks and now I am going back to LA. I lived, I learned, and the Universe showed me many valuable lessons I wouldn’t have learned has I not come to New York. I am truly grateful.
Thank you to The Magic, The Secret and Rhonda. Thank you, Universe!
