Hi everyone,

I’ll get straight to the point. I started reading “The Power” to see if it expands on “The Secret” (which it does and in a more simplistic nature). It mentioned trying to attract something “unusual” to begin with so that when it does appear there will be no denying the event.

That same night, before heading to sleep I considered trying the concept out. I said to myself, “I want a Koosh ball!” (The children’s toy that’s squishy and looks like a porcupine). My request seemed so ridiculous, yet simple enough that when it actually does come into my life, I will know for sure that I did so! I closed my eyes and pictured this Koosh ball (even though I haven’t seen one in ages), what it looked like, how it feels in my hands, etc., and then simply let it be and went to sleep.

The very next day, as I’m sitting on a chair in my living room, my little nephew begins to make a random mess (which they love to do). As I let him be, things begin to fall, I look to the side, and low and behold, a blue Koosh ball was right there in the container! I grab it immediately and then begin to have my eureka moment! I didn’t even realize that there was one in the house to begin with. Absolutely “random”! : ) And to make things even cooler, perhaps as a bonus from the universe, the ball was the exact same color of the clothes I just happened to choose to wear that day.

That, my friends, was when I came to the realization that the universe passed my “test”.
