Twenty-one months ago, I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. When I first suspected something was wrong, I went to see a urologist who said there was only a 5% chance that I would have a tumor and that it would be malignant. But for two years previous to this, I was sure that my life was going to take a turn for the worse. Things had just been going too well for me for too long not to have something bad happen. So with every little ache or pain, I was convinced that I had some kind of major illness. Sure enough, the tumor was malignant.

Right before I found The Secret (suggested to me by a friend at work who noticed just how angry and stressed I was becoming), the doctor told me I needed a third surgery and then we would have to consider chemo.

I listened to The Secret CDs day after day for two weeks, and visualized my body being cancer-free every day. I turned my husband onto The Secret and together we were certain my cancer had disappeared and I would need no drug treatment. While my husband and I sat in my doctor’s office, I still visualized him telling me good news. In my pocket, I kept a gratitude rock and stroked it as I waited. When the doctor walked through the door, he gave me the thumbs up and told me there was no evidence whatsoever of any cancer. I decided then that I would devote time each day to meditation, visualization, and learning more about The Secret.

Since then, I have been able to cross nine items off of my list of things I want and need.
