Life back then was boring and wearisome. I had a small business where I put forth efforts to make it grow and give me financial freedom. however, running a business is no piece of cake. I shifted from one kind to another, draining my energy and my capital. Instead of bringing in more money, it dragged me to a pool of debt. until I came across one simple but undeniably striking book in 2008 – THE SECRET. I started feeling hope rising inside of me. I was excited to discover the opportunities of every day. but in December 2009, a depressing incident occurred. A very dear family member passed away. I was distraught and went out of focus. I lingered in negativity and pessimism, questioning why it had to happen and blaming myself on why i haven’t done a thing to prevent it.

Nevertheless, the incident caused my family to get closer to each other and a number of blessings poured in. It was also then that I met a special person who later became my business partner and my sweetheart. We went out to the cities to scout business samples that would be worth trying. We gradually established a simple foodcart business. Aside from that, we also managed to grow another business. It was fine at first, we made money. We thought of expanding it and so we borrowed for capitalization. Things went out of hand since expenses came more than the income and the said income only goes out to pay the interest of the loans. We were again faced with financial crisis. that was when I decided to re-visit THE SECRET dvd and the book. THE SECRET, THE MAGIC, NAPOLEON HILL BOOK, ROBERT KIYOSAKI MODULES…these keep us going.

We were able to settle some of our obligations some days of the week. but there were days when we end up frustrated because of not having the means to pay off our dues. Still, I encouraged my partner to keep our hopes high. In all our difficulties recently, it is the stories posted in your website that sustain me. They are like vitamins that nourishes me from exhaustion, reminding me to hold on to faith.

I am sure that I will be sharing my next story of positive manifestation very, very soon. my gratitude to all of you, especially to Rhonda and her team, for the invaluable help extended to me during my hard times. I believe that despite the cloudiness of the situation today, something very bright will shine on us. The best is coming our way and everything will be settled at last…
