I have had many small successes with the Secret, but the story I want to share is a big one. At least to me & my family.

Like a lot of families, ours has had a lot of financial difficulties in the past few years. We own our own business, in the construction field, and business has not been that great. That said, we always seem to have money when it is really needed.

We began to get behind on our mortgage and were about to list our house for sale, when I applied for a loan modification.

For seven months I sent updated paper work to my mortgage co. w/ no answers to if or when I would be approved. In the mean time I was still required to pay the monthly payments and I was about 2 months behind. Then one day when calling to check on the progress, I was told that I may qualify for a government program that would allow me to refinance. They forwarded me to the refi. team and the application process was started.

About two weeks later I was called w/ news that we were approved. Our house had value has depreciated significantly since being built in ’06. Around $200,000 of our prior mortgage was forgiven and our payments were cut in half.

All of this happened in about 6 weeks. While we were preparing all the paperwork for the loan application, my husband had to have his SS card replaced. We only had a short time to get it and knew the mail would not cut it. If you have ever been to a SS office you know it can be an all day experience. I called our local office and after about 20 min of being on hold, I finally reached someone. She told me that they do not take appointments, especially at the beginning of the month. Then, to my disbelief they gave me instructions for my husband. He was in and out of the completely filled office in 10 min. The lady said that they never take appointments, but I had seemed so nice on the phone she made the exception.

We also had tax liens that were paid off for us through the refinance. Our mortgage payments have been cut in half, our total mortgage has been reduced by $200,000 and our tax liens $14,000 have been paid off.

I believe all of this was brought to me by practicing the law of attraction and believing in the secret. Just believe.
