ChinaI am an Indian, currently residing in Shanghai, China. Doing my Ph.D.
I have been always a believer of The Secret since I got introduced to it by a friend in 2014. I am so grateful to Rhonda Byrne and also, to my friend for sharing this knowledge and changing my life for the better. It has definitely helped me to grow to be the person that I am today. The Secret had liberated me from a state of being unhappy even though I had a pretty good life. I can never be thankful enough for The Secret team, giving us this deep insight about how to be happy with existing things.
There are many instances where The Magic has beautifully and instantly changed my life. However, of late, I was getting anxious and nervous about life, so I started reading The Secret again, watched the movie and started reading the stories here every day. It motivated me a lot to keep going.
After a week I started believing in the power of the Universe again and let myself believe that the Universe has my back, no matter what. That was also inspired by a story here. Then something amazing happened. That particular day, my University held a dialogue with the University of Chicago, where I had also participated. The dialogue was in a very prestigious research think-tank in China. I was already really happy and excited to be a part of it. However, after we reached the venue, the Professor in charge asked at least three of the international students to sit at the central table along with the delegates of the University of Chicago. I was a little surprised that he did not mention my name, because I was among one of the serious and best students from my class andI was fluent in English.
The first question that came to my mind was, it was because I am an Indian that he did not mention my name? However, I did not let the negative feeling keep staying with me. I said to myself that it was okay, I am still getting to hear all these valuable lectures and exchange of views. I did actually submerge myself at the moment and loved listening to the lectures. But as always, the Universe had something amazing to unfold for me. When the dialogue was about to end, that Professor in charge, who apparently was one of the veteran scholars of China Studies, announced that he now requested that our Indian student give the concluding remarks on behalf of all the international students and as a representative of our University. I was shocked and my heart started beating so faster because I know how this had happened. I keep saying thank you to the Universe in my mind and gave my remarks. It was well appreciated by all.
Thank you so much to the Universe for restoring my faith in you. I know now that the Universe is at my back and every amazing thing happens at the proper time. Keep believing, be grateful for what you have and magic will happen.
Thank you so much Rhonda Byrne. I will always be grateful to you and all the people out there who share their stories here. It pushes me every day. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
