PhilippinesA young woman ready to be the change she wants to see in the world. Also working on her first film about hope and connection.
Ever since I was little, I’ve been struggling with my weight. I was born smaller than my sisters but after days of being born, I gained so much weight. I was only a month and a half old and my doctor put me on a diet.
Growing up, I was given the name Bubbles, Chubbs, and Little Miss Piggy by everyone in my family, which made me feel very sad and helpless.
At 13, I grew a depression and began emotionally eating. At 15, I finally became 150lbs and even had to wear my mum’s clothes. That’s when I knew that was the last straw. I decided on becoming bulimic.
A couple of days later, my father came home with The Secret DVD. I had heard about the law of attraction once before when I attended mass and a priest criticized it, but I never took it seriously until I watched it. It shocked me! It was so inspiring! I loved the positive message and I told myself that day that I would have the weight that I wanted.
I began using The Secret, and I got a photo of KATE MOSS modeling for Topshop. I know she isn’t the best example but I do like her thin frame. I put it on my vision board.
Every day, I just did what I liked, I ate what I wanted, and I danced to show my gratitude. I danced everywhere – in parties, in my bedroom, even in bathrooms. Every time I felt like it. And I just told myself that I was already that weight.
After a month, I already started losing weight and everyone noticed. After a few more months, I went down from 140lbs to 110lbs.
Now, I’m super confident with my weight, I wear what I like, and I believe that The Secret really works.
I’m using The Secret to manifest my first film… it’s all possible!!!
Thank you, Rhonda Byrne! You are amazing! Go Aussie! Oi Oi Oi! XD
