So here in India, married women observe a fast on a particular day around the month of October, in which they pray for the long life of their husbands and don’t drink water from the morning until the moon rises. Each year I look forward to this fast, but also dread the day since it’s usually warm, and going without a single drop of water gives me a very bad headache.

The night before Karvachauth, I was simply lying relaxed when I thought about how nice it would be to have a cooler day. A breezy day and a cloudy kind of day. Then I decided to visualize it. I visualized that I was standing on the balcony with a cool breeze caressing my face. I was enjoying it so much with closed eyes. I fell asleep and in the morning I had forgotten all about it. Honestly, I had no memory of the previous night.

It was a usual day and then around 2 pm, I noticed it was a cloudy day. I went to the balcony to soak in the scene and then it got all breezy! The coolness of the breeze caressed me just as I had visualized! I was speechless! It was one of my best LOA experiences. I did not know how to explain it but it works!
