When I was 14 I was introduced to The Secret through my sister. She had gotten the book from her friend. She told me about a few things from the book, many of which I didn’t understand at that time, then in July of this year I saw The Secret movie on my sister’s laptop. It was then that I took the LOA seriously. I also downloaded the audio book into my iPod.

Then one day I went into my local library and guess what? I saw The Secret book there. It had just arrived that morning and I immediately took it. This happened two weeks ago.

My admissions for 11th std i.e. junior college had begun, and I was not getting into the college of my choice because I didn’t score enough marks. Now there was very little chance of me getting into that college unless we paid extra money which I seriously told my mom not to do.

So on 25th August, I decided to use The Secret to get admitted into college. I really imagined what it would feel like to be admitted and imagined my mom congratulating me on it. I even had the uniform of the college, which was my sister’s. I wore it and truly felt it.

When I went to my classes that day, I was asked which college I was in by a couple of girls. I didn’t know, so remembering the LOA I said the name of the college I wanted. And guess what? The same day I got a call from mom while she was working in her office, telling me that I got admitted into the college by some contacts of hers in her office.

I was blown away by the speed by which the LOA worked, but I knew it was gonna happen anyways!
