To start I would like to thank Rhonda and The Secret team for all the work that you all do. I also want to say thank you to everyone who has posted stories on the website. Without you, I would not be here. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you!
So my story is not exactly a story, more like a tip that I learned while applying The Secret to feel better. This is for anyone feeling down. I realized that in order to feel better, good or at least a sense of calm right a way, is to breathe. Consciously take slow, deep breaths until you feel calmer, which should only take a few seconds. Once you feel calm, wait a few seconds to a minute so your body gets used to it and repeat the process again. Don’t do it for any defined period of time or take any defined amount of breaths. Just do it until your day gets better. So with that being said, as mentioned in “The Secret,” do not worry about when you will start to feel better, which should be immediate anyway.
I mention this because I just had not been able to recover from this emotional rut I was in, until now. Just breathe! It is the most effortless, immediate thing you can do for yourself. Repeat if and when necessary. I am doing it right now, just continuously as I type. Breathe in slowly and deeply and exhale the same. That is all there is to it. Hope that helps.
