I had been single for two years when I met a really amazing guy. I met him in May of last year. All was going great until August, when he decided he didn’t want to continue things with me. I was devastated. For months I was clinging on to hope, waiting for him to text or call me back. I was obsessing about it and was in a state of despair.

Then I decided to let go. I decided to trust in the universe. I made a vision board, I read The Magic and I reread The Secret. I practised gratitude daily and I found myself becoming a happier and more positive person. I made a list of the qualities I wanted in my perfect partner.

Then my dream came true! I met my perfect partner on a night out. He is the most amazing man, I couldn’t be more attracted to him. He has all the qualities I wrote on my wish list. We are together now for four months and we are blissfully happy. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him!

I am sharing my story because I was continuously on this page a few months ago looking for hope. I really hope my story inspires other people to be grateful, positive and to trust in the universe.
