Lately, I have been thinking a lot about a guy I really like. We are currently not in contact, but I miss him. I am using this time apart to clarify in my mind what I want from him.

One night, I was sitting at my computer, thinking about him again, and started envisioning some of the things I wish could happen for us to be happy together. As I was doing this, I realized that it might be a process for him to get there, but I was fine with it as long as it happened. Then I came across a story about a girl making a “deal” with the Universe, where seeing the color red would be a sign to her that love is coming. I thought it was cute and continued browsing the internet.

When I logged into one of my social network accounts, I saw a friend request from a guy I did not know, but he is around the same age as “my guy,” has a similar name, and is from the same country, although not from the same city. That just made me smile. It is a little thing that should not be ignored!
