I am extremely and always will be grateful to Rhonda Byrne for sharing “The Secret” with the world. I am reading “The Secret” again for the fifth time now, and I have read “The Power” as well. As I read Chapter 6, I remembered that this was the chapter responsible for our wonderful and beautiful daughter, and I just felt the need to share it with the world.

My wife and I had always talked about having children, and we both wanted to have a little girl that looked like my wife who we would name Abigail and call her Abbie. After being married for over a year, we decided to get pregnant. We had no idea that this would be a lot easier said than done. We tried for over a year with no luck, and we were scared and frustrated.

To make a long story short, I read “The Secret,” and a light bulb went off in my head after reading Chapter 6. I knew exactly what we needed to due to make our dream come true. Abbie’s room was blue, we used it for storage, and I used it for an office and a gym. We were not living as if we were receiving, so we cleaned out the room, painted the room pink, and we even ordered the furniture.

I am sure everyone can figure out how this story ends. “The Secret” has taught me to be gracious and to have faith, and if you want the Universe to grant your request, you must truly live as if you are receiving. Thanks again from the bottom of my heart Ms. Rhonda Byrne!
