I saw The Secret on Netflix and it changed my life. Just last week I started to listen to How The Secret Changed My Life and I was inspired to ask for specific things.

So, I am a freelance artist and I work for a huge company. I love working there because the energy is awesome and the people are too, plus I am doing what I love from the moment I enter until the moment I leave. It was mention that we were having a holiday party, black tie. I was so excited! I get to meet new artists and have fun with the people I work with.

Then I stopped getting hours at work. I did not work for almost three weeks because, well, I don’t know why. The party was coming up in a couple of days, Sunday to be exact, and I did not want to go because I felt odd going since I did not receive any work. Did they not like me anymore? So I gave The Secret a try. I always use it but I never ask for anything specific. This time I did. I said out loud that I will work this weekend and in just two days my boss texted me and asked me to work!

I went in and two of my co-workers were so excited to see me and gave me hugs. They then asked if I was going to the party because they really wanted me to go. The party is tomorrow and I am shopping for a dress today. I am so excited to go to my first black tie party!

I am not scared anymore to ask for specific things. I practice gratitude every day and my life has changed completely. I am always surrounded by love and positive circumstances but now I am asking for specific things knowing it can and will happen. Thank you so much.
