Let me start out by saying that I have been practicing The Secret for about 3 years now. Yes, I have had some minor to good success here and there but I really needed something bigger to keep me really believing, and it finally happened!

I am a Real Estate Agent and I really needed a new client. I believed that I would get one that week. As it happened, a man walked into my office and needed help finding a rental property. I spent time with him that day talking and looking for rental properties. The next day, with his wife in tow, we all went looking for rental homes together. After a while, I started to talk with them about buying a home instead of renting one. They agreed and we started looking at homes to buy. I took them to a Builder I know and showed them the model home. They fell in love with it. We agreed to meet the next day in my office and go over everything together and then go back to the Builder with more specifics. Instead, I got a text message the next day from my client, that said he was at the Builder without me. When I arrived, they were already writing up a contract for him. He told them that he didn’t want to be represented by me or anyone else. In a nut shell, even though I was the one that helped him, drove him and his wife around looking at homes, drove him to the Builder and showed him the model, he wanted to cheat me out of my commission of about $10,000. I couldn’t believe it! Why was this happening to me? I had asked the Universe for a buyer and one just walked into my office. But then he turned on me and for no reason that anyone has ever been able to understand.

But I made a decision. I was going to talk to the Builder and ask them for my commission. You know, because sometimes action is required. So, I sent an email detailing everything to one of their representatives, three times before I got a NO. Then, I got the name of another representative and had to send him the same email 3 times before I got another NO. I wasn’t discouraged though, I knew in my heart that the Builder would do the right thing and I would get my commission. I didn’t know how, but I knew I would. I felt the feeling of having that money now and really feeling how great it felt to have it. I even wrote down what I was going to use the money for because I just knew that it was coming to me.

Now, here’s where it all comes together. One day, I was still wondering how my commission was going to come to me and a woman walks into my office. I had only met Pam twice before at different Real Estate functions but I didn’t really know her. She works for a Mortgage Lender. But anyway, there she was in my office with an award from the same Builder that she had received for me about 6 weeks earlier. She said she was at the Builder’s meeting and when asked at the meeting who wanted to bring the award to me, she immediately said she would. We started talking and I almost didn’t want to tell her what was going on with the Builder because I didn’t want to bring any negativity to the situation. But I told her what was going on and she immediately knew who I should speak with. Even better, the Builder was having a Broker’s Open House the very next day and Rich, the man she said I needed to speak with was going to be there. He was and we spoke and I explained briefly what had happened and then the next day I sent him the email that explained everything in more detail.

Long story short, after about 2 weeks, I received a phone call from him and I am getting my full commission, all $10,000!!

The Law of Attraction sent Pam to me, who by the way, is a big believer in The Secret. Why did she volunteer to bring me the award? She said she just felt like she wanted to. We both knew then that the Universe had brought us together because she knew the man who I needed to speak with who would say YES! I know now that The Secret does work and in big ways sometimes.

Oh, and I had also asked for an award from my company, the Diamond Award. I made a place for it on my desk. When I looked over at the empty space, I saw the award there. Anyway, the same week I found out that I was getting my commission, I also found out that my sales qualified me to receive the Diamond Award this year.

I am truly blessed and will continue to believe and practice The Secret and The Law of Attraction everyday. I bought the Audio Book not too long ago and I am listening to it every day, it helps to keep me focused and feeling wonderful!
