So in March 2014, I had to let go of job due to mergers of two big companies! I am a person with a Pharmaceutical background, with a strong desire to make a career shift from Pharma to Media.

This is the start of my beautiful journey. After working hard non stop for over a decade this screeching halt to my career was a shocker to me, it took me a few days to accept the fact. Here’s few things that I did as soon as I knew what what the present moment where I stand was:

I usually did the self-talk in mirror as if I talking to a toddler or my best friend, with the same excitement and love. I changed my verbiage telling myself clearly that this time off is going to make my personality flourish, I am going to take my yoga/meditation practice to next level, I am going to be in the best of my health, emotionally, physically and spiritually! I am going to get a job in NYC for a top ad agency with a salary of $xxx,xxx!

I kept repeating this mirror talk twice a day every morning and night right after waking up and before going to bed.

Yes, it took 7 months to manifest, but my friends you will not believe it!

I was directed in such way that I completed a course in Marketing from NYU, completed my yoga training to become a certified teacher, started teaching at a studio and became an Yoga nidra specialist there.

And the best part is I got a job in one of the top digital ad agencies in NYC with the SAME EXACT salary I had asked for and a post that was even better than my expectations!

Today I am in best of my emotional, physical and spiritual health. The Secret really works!

I remember clearly one sentence out of the book at this moment, these are not the exact words, but it was something like this: It is not important how you are going to reach your destination you just have to start with one small step and not stop and whatever you do, do with unshakable belief.
