I work for a great company but wasn’t really happy in what I was doing. I was working as a lab tech, testing the products that we turn out. I heard about “The Secret” and borrowed it from a friend to read. I started reading it and truly believed it.

My goal has always been to be in sales – business to business sales. I had attempted for years to break into the industry with absolutely no luck whatsoever, however, in the middle of reading The Secret, I decided to start living it.

One morning on my way to work I said to myself over and over again, “Within five years I am going to work as a sales rep for my company.” When I got to work that morning I logged onto my company’s corporate website and looked at the job postings. There was a listing for an entry level sales rep. I sat down, wrote out some emails and a cover letter and submitted my application online. I told my wife about it and I believed that I had that job. I knew that I was going to get it.

I’d say probably three weeks later, my company flew me to Milwakee (I was living in Topeka, KS) for an interview. At the end of the interview I was handed an offer letter. It was for more than I even expected. I went to my car, drove away, and cried like a baby. This is what I had always wanted and it finally happened.

I really believe that this came about because I found out about The Secret. I am a Christian and I have learnt to use The Secret along with Christianity to live the most fulfilling life that I intended to have.
