So I had heard of The Secret back in high school but gave up within a month.

Fast forward to four years later while I’m in college. I’ve had a hard time in college. I’ve been miserable and just lonely sometimes.

While on break, I forgot exactly what I was watching on YouTube, but on the sidebar, The Secret popped up. I re-watched it twice, bought the book and read it. I’ve read multiple stories on here to keep up the faith.

So, two things have happened so far. I’ve been on the wait list for a class since December that I have to take this semester. I remained the same number on the waitlist for weeks.

Over my break, while I started using The Secret, I wrote down how happy I was that I got off the waitlist for that particular class. I visualized getting off the waitlist for that class.

And I did!

Now, I needed new boots. I wanted three pairs of boots. I have a vision board and on it I put a pair of grey, black, and brown boots. I also wrote down how thankful I was that I got these boots. I didn’t want them to look exactly like the ones I had put on my vision board, I just wanted three pairs of boots in those colors.

Today I went shopping with my mom at the shoe store that I usually get my boots from. Now, my mom had been telling me all week how she was only going to buy me 2 pairs of boots. She said she could only afford two pairs of boots. And this place usually only has boots that are $40 and up. Very few times have I ever seen less than that. The least costly pair of boots I’ve ever seen in this store have been $29.99. But no matter what my mom told me I still told myself that I was going to get one pair of black, one pair of brown, and one pair of grey boots.

So we walk into the store today and- they were having a sale! What are the odds of that? None! Out of all of the times I’ve been to this store I’ve NEVER seen them have sales.

I got three pairs of boots each for 19.99. One black, one brown, and one grey. I expect everything I’ve written down in my diary/journal to come true now. I know that I’m going to have a great year and that the rest of my time in school is going to be a blast.

I just want to say don’t give up! There is no reason we should not have anything and everything our hearts desire! Absolutely no reason. If you’re getting ready to give up, just think of what your life could truly be like if you applied The Secret to your life. You can have what you want starting today!
