It All Works Out.

ON, CanadaJust someone grateful who’s living day by day who hopes to spread as much love and happiness as possible. Thank you for The Secret, it’s been a real life changer.
Hi there! I have been addicted to reading the stories on this page for months and months. Only now am I having the courage to write my own. I have had many successes with The Secret including in education, attaining items, relationships and more. I really do believe in this law and it has changed my life.
I have attracted both negative and positive things through my thinking and I realize that it’s all based on my thoughts. I love reading the stories here for inspiration, but I always look for someone who explains exactly how they used the law. Today, instead of looking for that someone, I’ll be the someone.
It is true that our thoughts become things and also that it is impossible to monitor every thought. What really works for me is to think about what I want and then let it go. “Letting go” is such a hard concept but when I really move on from something or forget about it after thinking about or wanting it, it always appears. When I dwell on something, it tends not to happen. The trick is to get to the point of feeling neutral about whether something happens or whether it doesn’t. That’s how you know you have let it go. You just have to always keep in mind that you will be okay, no matter what. With that mindset you can achieve anything.
For example, in school I have to write weekly quizzes. On my quizzes I consistently was getting 50-60% marks. I kept saying that I was going to get 80% or higher but it never happened. I visualized and affirmed it but it never happened. It wasn’t until I finally was like “whatever, if I get an 80% that’s great and if I get a 50% it’s also great because it’s not the end of the world.”
A few days later I checked my results from the most recent quiz and guess what?! I saw, an 80%! This was after getting 50% at least four times before.
Another time, I needed a projector for my get together. I kept saying that somehow I would get a projector. I asked friends to borrow their’s but they were unable to lend them or they were broken. I needed the projector for a big portion of the gathering. Then on the day before the get together when I still hadn’t gotten a projector, I just thought “whatever, I tried, no big deal.”.
I kid you not, a few hours later my mom returned home saying her work was giving out mini projectors that were compact and easy to transport. And, she happened to win! She said she didn’t even sign up for anything, they just came and gave it to her saying she won it. Crazy I know!
In these instances and others I realized that being detached from the outcome allows it to happen. Just let it be and focus on staying in the moment.
Thank you so much to The Secret team and thank you so much to the people who send in stories. And of course, thank you, thank you, thank you!
