Like many people in the world, we all have a sad story. I can’t pinpoint where mine began or how it started, but what I do know is that every time something went wrong it crumbled away at my positive thought-process and eventually when things began to pick up again I would spiral out of control. The only way I knew how to be was to pick myself up when things went wrong; I never knew how to be when things we going right!

When I started to read The Secret just over a year ago my initial thought was ‘I can do this’, however I quickly forgot about it… Until 4 days ago…

I had been passed a copy of it on DVD a few months back and finally got around to watching. I began to realise that all of my positive thoughts and wants had never been taken over by negative ones because these thoughts were the ones I had my heart set on. I had always wanted to run my own business, I had always wanted a boyfriend who was caring, clever and never afraid to take risks and I had always wanted happy family meals. Guess what I realised? I have all that! Better still, I run my business with my boyfriend, who I get to see every day!

After watching the DVD I put together a collage of all things I know I will get in my life. One of them was a Mini…

Yesterday I decided to put it to the test to confirm my positive thoughts were working. I bought a scratch card and won £5.00. I found the perfect parking space straight away and I wanted to get to the local shop which always closes at 2pm. It was 2pm and the shop was 10 minutes away. (Ask and you shall receive.) As I got to the shop at 2.10pm it was locked up and the lights were off, as I looked in the lady waved to me, come to the door and unlocked it and served me!!! It gets better…

Today I had family around for dinner. My mum had bought a pile of my post (which is normally bills) but I kept thinking that I will receive a cheque. The first letter I opened was my mum’s – It was a charity letter with a necklace of a guardian angel (I had been wanting a gratitude stone) so this was perfect and I donated £10 on-line there and then. Next in the post was a brochure on Mini Cars – I have never received any literature for cars before but this was on my collage (it’s a sign) … then I finally opened my last letter. It was a cheque for £25.00 – My mum had bought premium bonds for me when I was a baby and this was the first time ever she had one on them. I couldn’t believe it – it worked!!!!!!!

Life is on track and will continue to be. I am so grateful for everything that has happened in my life to lead me to where I am today. I am also so grateful for all the wonderful things that continue to happen through my positive thoughts!
