This is my very first story and I am so excited. I want to thank all the people who have shared their stories. I read them every single day and feel inspired and motivated to continue to trust the Universe, life force, God. I came across The Secret many years ago but it was only when life came crashing down did I really understand how we co-create the reality we experience. As Mike Dooley says, ‘Thoughts become things so choose good ones’.

My story is about my daughter. She had been working in an office for four and half years but felt completely disheartened. She did not like the work as she lacked any motivation or inspiration. So, she quit. For the last seven months she was at home and I was concerned about her. Actually, I was deeply worried about her future and her loneliness. My daughter has suffered with anxiety issues and her confidence was decreasing.

One day a friend said to continually ask two questions. ‘What else is possible?’ and ‘How can it get any better than this?’. So, I kept asking those questions. Whilst being grateful for the perfect job for my daughter. I came to the idea of ‘jobs with horses’. I put that term into Google and lots of apprenticeships came up. I shared this with her. She started applying for different positions but there was no response.
One day she called a riding school she used to go to when she was a child and asked them if she could volunteer. They were delighted to have the help and she began to work there as a volunteer three or four days a week. This continued for four months. One day she sent me a text that she had been invited for an interview. I had no knowledge that she had been applying for positions. We were both super excited and a little nervous.

She went for the interview on a Tuesday and she was offered the position and moved to the farm on the following Tuesday! It all happened so fast.

I wake up every morning with deep gratitude in my heart. It is a miracle! She works on a beautiful 125 acre farm with stunning horses. She will be going to college to learn about equine care. I am stunned and so grateful that she has found her life purpose and she is so happy. Waking up everyday expressing thanks is a much better way to start the day. So, I encourage you all to be open, be grateful and ask and you shall receive.
