I am running a small part-time sales team in Beauty products, and always looked up to other team leaders in my area who also run small teams and have great success. ‘M’ was one of those team leaders. Until one day she got involved in another business venture, and although she continued with her sales team, they didn’t do that well anymore, and she didn’t service her team members as well as before. I spoke to her a lot about it, and said I cannot measure my team performance to her team anymore.

Then she told me the reason: this new business venture got her to purchase “The Secret” book and later the DVD. Her focus totally shifted as she has concentrated on making her new business venture a great success. She has reached her goals within the period prescribed! Wow!!

I borrowed her DVD a week ago, which she has been offering me for the past 3 – 4 months, and watched it only two days ago!

I only realised then that without knowing I had The Secret in my life when I set my goals for 2007. My small team of 15 consultants had sales of ZAR 147,000 in 2006, and has grown to a team of 29 consultants and sales of ZAR 299,668, and this excludes the sales of my break-away team!! Now I have set my goals for 2008 and am busy making my VISION BOARD as I am going to achieve all those goals. Just for my sales team my goals are to double the sales AND consultants AND have another break-away. When we as a team reach those goals, I as a team leader will qualify to go on an overseas trip with all the other qualifying team leaders.
