Okay, so I’ve known about The Secret for the past couple of years, and have messed around with it here and there, only trying it out sporadically. Sometimes it seemed to work and other times I would just give up and get sucked into my negative thoughts and frequencies. This all changed within the past couple of months, starting over winter break.

I had a month off of college for Christmas, so being bored out of my mind, and with a new year looming ahead of me, I decided that I wanted to make this year count and be full of possibilities and memories, hence I started watching The Secret DVD every night. I started writing down and thinking of things I wanted more than anything, over and over again. After focusing on all positive energy all the time and constantly believing that life is too short not to expect anything but great things for myself, things started falling into place.

For instance, I am obsessed with music and am addicted to going to concerts, the hard part is trying to find people to go with who like my tastes in music. So, I wrote down on paper that I wanted to find someone who would go to lots of shows with me. A couple of days later, one of my good friends started texting me a long list of all different bands that she wanted to see, and since then we have seen over 30 bands this year.

Also, earlier this year when the movie New Moon came out, I kind of got caught up in the whole obsession and decided that I would meet all of the cast members… I thought to myself that this is something that I would really want, and I didn’t doubt that it would happen, I just knew without doubt that things would work out for me, and after I put that thought out there I frankly forgot about it. Well, a few months later I ended up going to Bamboozle (a 2 day concert festival) and found out that Jackson Rathbone, the guy that plays Jasper in the movies, had a band called 100 Monkeys, who would be performing. Well to my luck me and my friends ended up at their stage and were surprisingly close. I got to enjoy watching him on stage, and I thought that was my “gift from the universe” so to speak, but boy was I wrong. A few hours later while waiting for another band to start performing at another stage, I had this feeling to turn around, and low and behold 10 feet away was Jackson and his band just chilling out, totally unnoticed. To sum that encounter up, I got to meet him, get a picture with him, and a free CD from his band!!!!

Also, a couple of days before that I went to a 30 Seconds to Mars concert, and the whole time before the show I kept telling myself that I was going to meet the band, and I just kept picturing it non-stop. Well, after the show they ended up doing an autograph signing, so I met them and got their autographs!

The Secret does work – nothing is impossible!!!! I met one of my favorite bands and Jackson(Jasper) within 10 days of each other. Don’t ever deny yourself what you want, the key is to feel good all the time and just know without doubt or reason that everything you want will be attracted to you like a magnet!
