I have been married and trying to conceive for more than five years. As part of my infertility treatment had to undergo numerous tests and two major surgeries. The first one was to reopen my blocked fallopian tube and the second one within a year to remove large fibroids and cyst from my uterus. Now the second surgery was performed by a different doctor who told us that instead of opening my tube, they had been damaged it in the first surgery so after a break of three months I would have to go for IVF as the only way I could conceive a child.

During my break from my work post for the the second surgery I started reading The Secret and did it change my life?? Yes!! It changed everything for me. I visualised having a baby naturally and even marked in the calendar that in August, since the operation was done in May, I would get my good news. I started writing everything that I was grateful for in a diary every day.

Then just the day before we were supposed to go for IVF we got the big news that I was pregnant!!!!
