I recently discovered The Secret and now realise I have been using it without knowing.

I am a great fan of Liza Minnelli, and for ages have been looking at her website regularly and telling people how I’d love to see her. I even mentioned to one of my sons how I’d travel anywhere in the world to see her.

Last Christmas my husband and I had a wonderful surprise. Our two sons gave us an early 40th Wedding Anniversary present, which is in April. They gave us two tickets to see Liza Minnelli at one of her London concerts in May this year. I was so overcome with emotion I cried.

A couple of weeks ago I discovered The Secret, then this week after watching the DVD and reading the book I realised my Liza obsession was me putting it out to the Universe, not even realising it at the time.

I was telling one son about The Secret and how it worked with seeing Liza, when a couple of hours later he rang and said he was on the website and another show in London had been put on, and he had two seats on hold 5 rows from the front. I said, I’ll get them. I had even been privately thinking if another show would be put on, and now it has.

So now in May my husband and I will not only be seeing Liza twice, but having a great holiday in London and parts of England. What a great way to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary.

The money to pay for the second tickets came from a refund we had just received for something returned.

The Secret has and is working, and I now understand what it is all about.
