I Was Inspired.
I remember when I was in school, I was a border line failing but just passed in art and drawing curriculums. I thought I had no or poor creative ability. I never liked the drawing and art classes and used to just streak colours on my drawing book with no coherence. This was true till I was inspired by one of my Mumbai based friends to try something new in life. I tried a new art called “Quilling” which I was unheard of by me until one of my friends gifted me a handmade farewell greeting card which had some Quilling on it.
I started self-learning and then quilled accessories, fridge magnets, alphabets, desk decors and finally ended with a wall hanging masterpiece. It has been a journey of 2 years and I am still learning. I believe I am still not there, as creativity and imagination have no limits.
Today I have my own page “Shu Creations” and I am a part of a Quilling club where we exchange our quilling artworks and keep inspiring each other. All this was possible because I got inspired by other people’s passion. Find your passion and then get inspired and keep inspiring others.
