I Was Awarded A Grant For $15,000.
Submitted by: Cece
Inglewood, CaliforniaI am the owner of a childcare business.
I received an email informing me that grant money was available to childcare businesses affected by Covid-19. The money had to be used for childcare expenses or to reopen your business if it was closed during the pandemic. I met the requirements, and I applied.
I was so excited! I spent all the money I had on my business and waited months in anticipation for the grant. One afternoon, I received a letter from the Grant program telling me I did not qualify due to the location of my business. I was devastated and did not understand.
I pondered it and suddenly remembered what Rhonda Byrne said. I crossed out “denied” and wrote “approved”. I rewrote the letter and did the same thing a week later. Every week, I rewrote the letter and crossed out denied, then replaced it with “approved.” I refused to accept no for an answer.
One afternoon, I received an email letting me know that I was still not entitled to the money. I was surprised and knew what I was doing worked. A few days later, I received a message from the Grant program stating, “There were additional funds, and my application was APPROVED.”
I laughed so hard! My daughter still talks about it. She could not believe it. A few weeks later, I received a check for $15,000 in the mail. Thank you!
Now, I use this technique for almost everything. Thank you so very much, Rhonda! Your strategy worked for me like a charm.
