During early 2008, I didn’t feel happy with my life. I was sometimes bullied, didn’t have the best grades, and my life was flat out miserable. But one day when coming home from school, my mom put on The Secret for me and my brother. At first, I didn’t know what to think of this cool new movie. At the time I had just started playing Little League baseball, and my team was okay. I also heard my family was going to take a trip to the Florida Keys, a place I always wanted to visit but never got the chance to. In addition to The Secret, I also started working with a program called Learning RX to improve my cognitive skills.

Within a few short weeks, my life really turned around. People stopped bullying me, my grades went up, and I had higher self esteem-but that was only the beginning. My Little League team started doing better and better, winning our playoff games. Then my family flew down to Ft Myers, Florida where we’d meet my grandma and then drive down to the keys. While in the keys, I had a lot of fun. I learned more about the culture and what they do for fun. Upon coming back home to Madison, I took the magic of The Secret with me. My Little League team made it to the championship tournament, where we played the toughest team in the league, just like in the movies. We lost the first game, but we won the second two! In the first one, I became MVP because I had a two run single that fired everyone up, thus gave us the two wins that made us champions.

A few weeks later, as I finished up with Learning RX, there was a picnic which had lots of fun games including a braincards tournament, which was most exciting. Because of my braincards training and increased logic skills, I was able to win the braincards tournament, winning Battleships, my favorite board game.

So because of a tiny bit of faith, I was able to turn my life from almost a nightmare, to a life anyone would die to have. So I’m grateful for The Secret being in my life and having made all those wonderful things possible. And for people out there who feel like their lives might be a struggle, you should be grateful for the joy The Secret and The Power bring us, because you with the help of it you will create wonderful things in your life forever!
